The Importance of Community

The world we live in right now, seems to be one of division, isolation and fear mongering. This is the time to connect with like-minded people who can support each other. Thankfully the internet can help bridge the gap and align you to those that resonate with you.

I have found much delight in discovering beautiful souls who promote empathy, compassion, respect, love and universal peace. On my journey of spirituality, I realised that all of the divine teachings led to the same theme. What is important to know is that we are equal, regardless of our belief systems. I have waded through many philosophies and found that there is no – one size fits all – approach.

My biggest take-away is that we should never judge anyone else for whom they are. Yes, I am guilty of this too. On my path to being the best version of myself, I realised that we can evolve and aspire to be a beacon of light in the darkness, if only to ourselves. We have the freedom to choose what we believe in is correct for us.
